Pastoral Counselors

Dwight and Jeanne Rodgers
Dwight and Jeanne were lead pastors of a thriving congregation for more than 30 years, and serve as the Pastors Emeritus at theChapel, the founding church of The Hope Center. They believe "You can't be what you must be by being what you have been." As pastoral counselors, they have a strong desire to see individuals and marriages experience a pleasant life, a good life and a meaningful life. They desire to come alongside to encourage training oneself and not just trying to accomplish this on your own in life or marriage. Seeing things from God's perspective is the focus needed to be a better person or have a dream marriage.

Glenda Woods
Glenda Woods has been in vocational ministry for more than 30 years. She was the first Care and Counseling Pastor at theChapel, where she currently serves as Pastor Emeritus. Glenda specializes in helping people walk into their purpose through biblical principles. Her method of delivering the truth in love allows her to meet people where they are, but not leave them there. Glenda is also the primary premarital counselor for The Hope Center, because a strong foundation is key to a successful relationship.
Clinical Counselors
All clinical counselors at The Hope Center are independent contractors, vetted by members of our Board of Directors, with tenured experience seeing lives changed. Here is a short bio of each of the clinicians with whom we currently partner:

Christina Chewning, LMHC
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Christina specializes in helping individuals with anxiety, self-confidence and self-esteem, career counseling, post-traumatic stress and PTSD, pre-marital, toxic relationships, and couples seeking to make healthy changes. She utilizes a variety of counseling techniques to personalize treatment for the specific needs of each of her clients. These evidence-based techniques include Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Client/Person Centered Therapy, and Brainspotting.

Kelly Murphy, LMHC
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, I've had the privilege of working in the mental health field for 7 years. I earned my license in 2018 and since then, I've been dedicated to walking alongside individuals on their unique paths toward healing and self-discovery.
I walk alongside individuals who are navigating life’s transitions or experiencing the deep impact of grief. I believe every person’s story is unique, shaped by their personality, circumstances, and goals. Together, we’ll explore your concerns, uncover your strengths, and create practical strategies that support growth and healing. Grief, especially, is a tender journey that can affect us emotionally, physically, and mentally. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can process your feelings, find clarity, and discover hope for the road ahead. You don't have to navigate this journey alone!

Terri Pendleton, LMHC

Lynn Cave
As a Certified Life Coach, Lynn has a deep desire to see everyone become all that they were created to be. She specializes in helping clients navigate life's transitions, identifying the season they are in, and helps them prepare for their next season as they become the best version of themselves.
With training in inner healing, she supports clients in both coaching and healing but blends the two together to bring a holistic, heart-centered way that promotes freedom and growth. Whether stepping into something new or simply wanting to live more intentionally, Lynn is here to walk with you on your journey!

Kelly Reusch
As a wife and mother of three teenagers, I know firsthand the challenges of balancing family, health, and busy schedules. My love for food and curiosity about how it fuels the body led me to become a certified nutrition coach, in addition to becoming a certified personal trainer. I’m passionate about helping people realize that food and nutrition don’t have to be complicated or overwhelming. Through simple, sustainable habits, I empower my clients to make confident food choices that support their health and lifestyle. I also love cooking and sharing meals with friends and family, reinforcing the idea that food is meant to be nourishing, enjoyable, and stress-free.
