What We Do

  • Clinical and pastoral counseling for individuals, adolescents, and couples –
    • We try to match you with a counselor who has experience in your area of need.
    • Clinical counseling requests will be referred to Clinicians, Clinical Interns, or certified coaches.
    • Pastoral counseling requests will be seen by a staff pastor from theChapel, who is ordained and will counsel according to biblical principles and wisdom.
    • Counseling sessions are typically 50 minutes.
    • An intake form will be provided to you ahead of your first appointment by your counselor.  This form is to ensure that the counselor/client relationship is a good fit.
  • Premarital counseling for engaged couples – Getting married is one of the most important decisions we will ever make. An important part of having a great marriage is preparation. Through premarital counseling, you will gain greater insight into what a Christ-centered marriage is truly all about. There is a $35 cost for this counseling that includes:
    • In-depth, customized survey to highlight important areas of potential conflict
    • 4 sessions with a licensed and experienced counselor to guide discussion around critical issues
  • Marriage Mentorship – Whether you are a newlywed and figuring out life together, or, you have been married for a while and need some guidance on how to have (or keep!) a healthy relationship, we can provide you with a mentor couple to help you succeed.
    • If you'd like theChapel to be a involved in your wedding, view our wedding policy here.

  • Coaching – We offer therapeutic, vocational, and organizational coaching using tools and assessments geared at helping you achieve your goals.

    • Everyone needs four types of leaders in their lives:  Models, Mentors, Coaches, and Friends.  Coaches help you reframe your perspectives, adjust your disciplines, and evaluate your commitments so that you can achieve your goals. We offer therapeutic, vocational, and organizational coaching using tools and assessments geared at helping you achieve your goals.

    • What’s the difference between coaching and counseling?  Is there a difference?  Yep.  Our counselors are experts in helping people deal with past and current circumstances, traumas, and behaviors. Coaching focuses on helping you Move Your Story forward.  Our coaches are not licensed therapists or counselors.  They are all certified in areas of their expertise.  Coaching generally takes place for a set number of sessions, which will be determined by you and your coach.  All coaches serving at The Hope Center set their own rates.
